During our Thanksgiving vacation here in Indiana with my parents we got the amazing opportunity to visit theĀ Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Center Point Indiana. Home to 205 exotic felines each with a unique story of how they got there. Many are sad stories of neglect and abuse. I never understood people wanting to have these as pets but after hearing their stories, there is no doubt that these should NEVER be anyones pets.

If you are ever near by, it will be worth your trip. You will get closer to these big cats than any Zoo. You’ll also get to hear them. If you can get there during feeding time, the roars the Tigers and Lions makes are unreal. It’s like going to a drag race track and the roar of the muscle car engines. It’s thrilling, yet terrifying at the same time.

  • What a beautiful family! And such a cool adventure. I am Sarah and have been paired up with you for the Valentine's Day Exchange via Domestic Dork. My husband and I live in Edmond, we moved here from Stillwater a few years ago. How cool that you live in the same area. I never meet fellow Oklahoma bloggers :) You can find me at www.joyfullygray.com

How old is Ainsley? I love her name; she is a doll. My daughter, Lucia (Loo-sha), is ten months old today.
